24th June 2001 was the feast day of St. John. To commemorate the feast day, the
Knights and Ladies of St. John International held a Turn Out at the St. Catherine's
Catholic Church, Burma Camp. It was well attended with all Commanderies turning
out smartly. Notable among the special guests were the Honorable Minister of Defense
Dr. Kwame Addo Kufour and the Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana and Togo (Cardinal
Kocherry).
Recently, the elected president of the Cadets, Brother Gabriel Kwofie left the
country to continue his studies in the US. In view of that, the 1st Vice President,
Brother Joseph Quaye has taken over from him.
The officers of the Supreme Commandery of the Knights of St. John International
from the Headquarters in Ohio visited Ghana. Cadets in the Whole of the Accra
Grand Commandery put up a splendid performance. Of the few cadets chosen to
display their matching abilities, four were from the St. Margaret-Mary Commandery.
Ayeekoo to our Brothers who made our commandery proud.
